Nobody likes moles. They make us look weird, especially if they’re really humongous. It’s like the way we see birthmarks, keratoses and hemangiomas.
Moles are irregular, dark growths that happen on the skin as a result of the clustering of pigment – producing cells. They could appear any where on your skin in groups or alone. They also could have different colours, black, yellow, brown or tan are some of its appearances. It’s usually worse if this mole is on your face.
Sometimes we attempt to get rid of these moles ourselves because a surgical method can be expensive, even though that’s an ideal method. The surgery could be painful too as a blade is usually used. So when these are considered, we decide to do it ourselves with a blade, knife or scissors, but this is not a good option as it increases your risk of infection, especially when your mole – removing tool is not sanitized, plus an ugly permanent scar could be created.
Other times we decide to go for mole removal creams which are not your best bet. They’re usually sold as cheap alternatives to a surgery, meanwhile they could lead to a huge scarring on the mole area. They usually dig beyond the skin while dealing with the mole and could cause more serious problems.
This goes to say removing a mole by yourself is unsafe. Surgery is always your best bet. If you’re wondering if you can leave the mole that way altogether, here’s why you should change your mind.

Why You Should Not Overlook Getting Rid of Moles

Moles are harmless and some people could have over ten of them, so what’s so wrong with leaving a mole on your skin? Well, what’s so wrong is that sometimes the moles can be cancerous. On your own, it is difficult to tell if a mole is cancerous. It is advised therefore that you visit a dermatologist for tests. A cancerous mole that is overlooked can spread through the body and become a threat to your life, it’s that serious. This is also why it’s unsafe to try to get rid of the moles on your own. You might succeed in getting rid of the mole, but the cancerous cells could keep growing without your knowledge and end up endangering your life. If you’re going to get rid of your moles using home remedies, then the proper thing to do is first to have a doctor check if it’s cancerous. A change in size, colour or shape could be a sign that the mole is cancerous.
If it’s not, then you can go ahead and get rid of them yourself . You still could decide to let the mole be if you find out it’s not cancerous and does not bother you. If it does bother you and you feel it affects your appearance, then get rid of them.

Repeat the method everyday and remain consistent with it. Be sure to not miss a day until you see significant progress.

Using the substance in high concentrations for a few weeks could result in the flaking off of the mole.
