Nausea and Vomiting
Lots of women go through nausea during menstruation. Some people experience vomiting too. Nausea is also another normal issue that occurs when you’re on your menstruation. Often, it makes you weak and tired as a result of production of prostaglandins during the menstrual cycle. This makes the walls of the uterus contract, leading to cramps and nausea. To relieve nausea, take a small piece of fresh lemon and inhale. You could also drink ginger and peppermint tea.
Loose Bowel Movements
During the first few days of a menstrual cycle, some women could experience loose bowel movements. This is perfectly natural and not harmful at all.
Loose bowel movements also happen due to hormonal changes.
Once menstruation begins, the body releases prostaglandins, which cause more contractions and lead to symptoms resembling diarrhoea.
