Losing weight can be a real strenuous task, most of us are so lazy we can hardly carry out a weight loss exercise program for a few days without throwing in the towel. Discipline is the name of the weight loss game, discipline and resolve is what most of us do not have. The truth is that every one of us has a lazy and undisciplined person on the inside, that person that just wants all the sugary foods and stay away from all the exercise routines.

As much as we want to be disciplined that lazy person on our inside wins the battle most of the time, for reasons we can hardly explain. I said this so you do not think that situation is peculiar to you alone, just in case you have been struggling with the lazy man inside you. Below are a few simple ways to lose fat for a lazy person:

Reduce sugar consumption

Carbs are a major source of the weight you are seeking so hard to discard and we mostly deceive ourselves that carbs are great for energy. If you want to lose fat, you are going to cut down the amount of sugary foods you consume, this means no more sodas, baked snacks, etc. This is not to say you cannot eat them, just reduce the amount you consume.

Use smaller plates for meals

Studies show that people who use smaller plates tend to eat smaller food quantities than those who use bigger cutlery. There is a way the smaller plate just deceives you to believe that your stomach is full, these smaller food portions will gradually help you to cut down your food consumption and thus your weight.

Chew gum

Chewing gum helps to keep your mouth busy and thus reducing your craving for food. Continually gum chewing also stimulates the secretion of digestive juices which work on previously consumed food to digest them in record time.
