Low blood pressure is a health condition in which an individual’s blood pressure drops so much that it leads to symptoms like clammy skin, dizziness, fainting, cold, palpitations, fatigue, nausea, blurred visions, difficulty breathing, etc. This condition is medically referred to as hypotension.

A cup of strong coffee, cola, hot chocolate or any other caffeinated beverage could increase your blood pressure, but only temporarily. • You can take about four to five almonds, 10 to 15 black currants, and 15 to 20 peanuts along with a glass of milk.

Lemon Juice

Lemon juice is highly effective in treating high blood pressure, but it may also be used in treating low blood pressure, especially when caused by dehydration. In cases like this, you can drink some lemon juice mixed with a little sugar and salt. It helps energize your body by stimulating the liver function and helping in digestion.
A glass of sugar cane juice mixed with salt and a teaspoon of lemon juice is useful as well.

• Soak about six almonds in water overnight.

You could prepare licorice tea by simply steeping a teaspoon of the herb (dried or powdered) in a cup of boiling water for about five minutes. You could take it daily for a few days.

Beetroot Juice

Beetroot juice is helpful in dealing with both low and high blood pressure. For low blood pressure, drink one cup of the fresh juice two times everyday for a week. You may also go with other natural fruit juices as they may perform the same function.

Holy Basil
