Face masks are great, not because of how beneficial they are to the skin but how fun they can be too. Plus, they’re not time consuming, hardly have side effects, and are not expensive. If you love creating face masks, here’s another idea you should completely try out.
Strawberries are usually available from late spring to early summer and you’ll readily find them in stores during that period. We already know how wonderful a snack this fruit is, plus, they’re great ingredients for salads. But did you know that they are also great ingredients for a face mask?
These fruits are packed with vitamin C and possess a high alpha-hydroxy acid content which will help exfoliate the skin, getting rid of dead skin cells on the skin’s surface. Fresh strawberry face masks are a great way to pamper your face and transform your skin.
However, before using any homemade facial mask on your skin, it is important to test it on your hand or your neck. Watch that area to see if there is a reaction. If there isn’t, then simply wash your face with your cleanser and apply the mask onto your face.
If there’s a risk, then you should not use the facial mask.
