How to get Rid of dental plaque fast

Dental plaque is a condition of the teeth that is not very pleasing to the eye because of its seemingly disgusting look. Dental plaque or tartar, are those yellowish,brownish or black butter-like stuff that tend to stick on the teeth due to lack of brushing the teeth for a long time. The build up of this tartar usually cause tooth problems because so much harmful bacteria has been allowed o live in the mouth for so long.

There are several ways of removing dental plaque and the easiest way to remove it naturally using simple home ingredients is baking soda.

Baking soda, which is also known as bicarbonate of soda is excellent for cleaning the teeth and also helps get rid of mouth odour which is usually associated with the plaque.

HOW TO GET RID OF DENTAL PLAQUE FAST USING BAKING SODA

What you will need;

Baking soda

salt

water

A bowl

PROCEDURES

  • Take one tablespoon of baking soda into a small bowl.
  • Add one teaspoon of water and stir very well.
  • Add 1/3 teaspoon of salt and mix well
  • Using a toothbrush, dip it into the mixture and brush your teeth concentrating on areas where you have the plaque/tartar
  • Rinse your mouth with water like you would your normal brushing
  • Repeat this process at least 3 times a week

P.S: Over brushing your teeth because you want to get rid of the tartar/plaque immediately will only irritate your gum. Instead brush your teeth for a few minutes and then spit it out.

 

HOW TO GET RID OF DENTAL PLAQUE FAST USING CHARCOAL

Charcoal is also a good cleaning agent that has been used since ancient day to clean and whiten teeth. It works best when combined with salt (any edible salt can be used).

If using bulk charcoal, grind it to powdery form using a mortar or stone to crush it.

PROCEDURES

  • Take one tablespoon of charcoal into a small bowl.
  • Add one teaspoon of water and stir very well.
  • Add 1/3 teaspoon of salt and mix well
  • Using a toothbrush, dip it into the mixture and brush your teeth concentrating on areas where you have the plaque/tartar
  • Rinse your mouth with water like you would your normal brushing
  • You can repeat this process daily or at least 3 times a week till you get rid of the dental plaque completely.
