A few reasons attributed to this occurrence include: – You are likely to be more tired, making you skip exercises or just restrict your movement. This results in building up more calories.- You tend to eat more when you are awake for longer.- The secretion of cortisol, a hormone which improves appetite.You want to lose weight? REASON 2 – STRESS

Though it seems most unlikely, stress has a way of making individuals add more weight rather than lose it. This is resultant from the following occurrences that accompany stress:- Heightened secretion of cortisol which does not only increase appetite but also causes storage of excess fat around the abs.- Increased cravings for sugary foods and comfort foods.- Skipping workout routines due to tiredness.My advice, take some time out to rest daily, meditate and be calm.

REASON 3 – EXCESSIVE EATING

An important fact to state about weight loss and food is the ratio of calories consumed to the calories lost. If you are consuming more calories than you burn, no matter how much exercise you are doing, you will end up not losing any weight. It is essential to watch out for this in our diets, ensure you figure out how much calories you need daily and create a balance with how much calories you are burning.

Most times the weight loss program does not immediately show a dramatic change, but gradually you will get there.
